Add New Integration

Overview

This guide is a walk-through of the steps required to integrate Tesco Accounts with Linnworks. Once fully integrated, Linnworks provides the ability to:

  • Automatically download new orders from Tesco.
  • View, manage and dispatch Tesco orders.
  • Automatically adjust inventory levels, to ensure you never oversell, based on sales through other channels.

Prerequisites

To integrate a Tesco channel into Linnworks, you must have the following in place:

  • An authorised Tesco seller account by invite only.
  • Access to your Tesco Seller ID and Access Token.
  • A Linnworks Anywhere Subscription with a cloud based database. 

Quick Guide

1. Retrieve your Seller ID and Access Token from Tesco.

2. In Linnworks, go to Settings -> Channel Integration.

3. Click on Add New Channel -> Select Integrate next to Tesco.

4. Enter your Tesco Seller ID and Access Token before clicking Test.

5. Click Create to finish setting up the integration.

Detailed Guide

1. Retrieve your Seller ID and Access Token from Tesco.

 


2. In Linnworks, go to Settings -> Channel Integration.

  • Login to Linnworks.
  • Select the Settings tab at the top of the screen. Fig 2.1

3. Click on Add New Channel -> Select Integrate next to Tesco.

  • Click on the Add New Channel button. Fig 3.1

4. Enter your Tesco Seller ID and Access Token before clicking Test.

  • Specify a name to reference the account and enter your API Key and API Secret, as gained in Step 1. Fig 4.1

5. Click Create to finish setting up the integration.

Once setup, Tesco orders will download every 20 minutes. Orders will initially be downloaded as 'Unpaid' and 'Locked'. Once Tesco have sent confirmation the order will be marked as 'Paid' and 'Unlocked'
