FNAC Channel Integration

 

Overview

This document describes how to set up FNAC inegration within Linnworks.  Here you can also find information about what functions Linnworks can perform while working with FNAC and how to configure this channel.

Setting up FNAC integration

FNAC integration allows you to:

  • Download orders from FNAC that match one of the following statuses
    • Accepted
    • Created
    • Received
    • ToShip
  • Mark items as dispatched on FNAC
  • Submit tracking orders
  • Synchronise stock levels

 

Before integrating FNAC with Linnworks, you need to have the following

 

To setup FNAC Order Book integration go to Settings > Channel Integration.  From this screen you can add, delete and modify selling channels that you wish Linnworks to integrate with.

 

Click the Add new channel button on the right of the screen to bring up the New Channel selection screen.  Now select FNAC from the list and click Integrate.

You will be presented with the FNAC Account Setup screen which will walk you through the process of integrating your FNAC account with Linnworks.

Enter the following details in FNAC Account Setup screen:

 

  • Channel Name - The name of your FNAC site
  • Partner ID - The API key from FNAC - Pre-filled, but can be adjusted if necessary
  • Shop ID  - Pre-filled, but can be adjusted if necessary
  • Key - Generated by FNAC

Once you have entered all of your details, click the Test button to ensure that the information you have keyed in is correct.  Click the Save button to add your FNAC account to the list of integrated channels in Linnworks.

 

Configuring FNAC Integration

Once you have set up your FNAC account to work with Linnworks it will appear in the list of channels on the Channel Integration screen.  From here you can enable / disable integration and inventory sync for each individual channel as well as configuration and inventory mapping tools.

Enabled

To enable / disable individual channel integration within Linnworks, simply click the small circle in the Enabled column that corresponds to the channel you wish to alter.  A green light means that the channel is enabled in Linnworks, while a red light denotes that it is disables.

 

Inventory Sync

The same process applies to the Inventory Sync function, clicking a circle will toggle between enabled and disabled for the specified channel.  A green light means that Linnworks will sync inventory with this channel while a red light indicates that it will not.

 

Config

Clicking the Config button for a specified channel will bring up the Account Config menu for that channel.

This is the same screen that appears when you first set up FNAC integration.  From here you can make changes to the settings, remembering to Test and Save when you have finished making alterations.

Enabled - This enables the channel for order synchronisation

Inventory Sync - This enables the channel for inventory synchronisation.

Mark as Despatched - When you process an order this enables sending of despatch notifications to FNAC

Inventory Update from Location - This enables you to synchronise stock from only one location; this may be required if stock is only abailable in one location or if orders are fulfilled from a different warehouse.
