The Sandbox functionality in the Data Utility tool lets you create a test environment for Linnworks that can be used to test the system or for training purposes. The Sandbox utility will download the latest sandbox database and reconfigure your system to connect to the sandbox. Your existing system and database will remain intact and you can connect to it by switching back from sandbox to production. Do not use the sandbox environment for production purposes.

To use the sandbox test environment, click the Create/Connect to Sandbox Database button and then click the Yes button to confirm that you wish to use the sandbox database.

Once the sandbox restore is complete, you will be prompted to start Linnworks connect to the sandbox database.

When you start Linnworks next, you will be met with a prompt asking for confirmation that you wish to connect to the sandbox database. Click the Yes button to connect to the sandbox environment or No to revert to your original production system.
