The Database Maintenance part of Database Utility allows you to perform some routine clean up operations on your Linnworks database. Performing Database maintenance completes the following tasks:

• Reindex your database
• Archive redundant data
• Shrink database file size
• Check for database errors
• Speed up Linnworks System

Click the Run database maintenance button to run the maintenance script, which can take anywhere up to an hour to complete depending on the size of the database. When the progress bar reaches 100% and displays “Completed” the maintenance is finished and you can re-open Linnworks.

We recommend performing database maintenance once a month and the time it takes to complete varies depending on the size of the database and how often maintenance is run.
