Professional Services Consultant

Linnworks is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to join our Professional Services Team based in Chichester.

The role will provide support during pre-sales stages, and subsequently deliver the implementation of the Linnworks solution for customers. Responsibilities include:

Pre-sales support:

  • Work closely with our enterprise and sales teams to understand and define clients key business drivers and requirements
  • Understand and demonstrate solutions or Proof of Concepts to clients and articulate the business benefits they offer to solve technical challenges experienced by the client
  • Propose solutions which meet those requirements, ensuring they are technically viable and add value to the overall proposal
  • Actively research and understand the marketplace to ensure proposals are competitive, add value and create unique selling points
  • Support sales teams throughout the contract lifecycle including at client review meetings and identifying opportunities to upsell


  • Develop project documentation including Statement of Work, technical design reviews, specifications, implementation plans, and test plans
  • Communicate with both internal and external teams to ensure the effective delivery of projects
  • Assist clients with ensuring the validity and integrity of the data provided for the successful implementation of Linnworks
  • Deliver system onboarding to ensure clients Linnworks accounts are configured correctly and are able to interface with all other required external systems
  • Handover to Key Account Manager for continued client success
  • Remote and on-site training of clients on all aspects of the Linnworks environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an e-commerce or cloud application-related environment
  • Solid understanding of Project Management, ideally holding a recognised qualification
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to confidently present client-facing technical proposals
  • Advanced administration skills, in particular using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Asana
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on own initiative
  • Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks
  • Understanding of warehousing, stock management and e-commerce an advantage

Other Information:

  • Salary up to £25k per annum, depending on experience
  • Based in Chichester with occasional travel within the UK
