DevOps Automation Engineer

Job Description

The Linnworks Engineering team is growing, and we’re looking for DevOps Automation Engineer to join our team  in Tallinn, Estonia.

What you'll do:

  • Developing a system which is used by thousands of companies around the world
  • Working in the Infrastructure Team alongside high profile specialists
  • Participating in different projects to make infrastructure more reliable and secure
  • Taking part in enhancing automations for release and deployment processes
  • Integrating test automation solutions to release pipelines
  • Participating in creating different internal automations and integrations
  • Making improvements in logging and monitoring solutions

Skills you have:

  • Work experience in DevOps area, 3+ years
  • Solid knowledge in at least one OOP language (preferably - C#)
  • Comfortable with at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Fluent in AWS, including infrastructure automation via Terraform and Ansible
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with complex deployments using continuous delivery and continuous integration (preferably - for .NET systems on Windows)
  • Expertise with the development toolchain (JIRA, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Slack, Docker)
  • Responsibility, self-discipline, and the ability to get the job done
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Bonus skills:

  • Work experience in writing automated tests (Unit, Integration, End-to-End)
  • Work experience in creating / deploying containerized apps
  • Experience with EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) stack
  • Experience with Grafana
  • Experience with SonarQube

  • CI / CD: Jenkins, Automated Tests (XUnit, NSubstitute, Selenium, Allure Reports)
  • Work experience in creating / deploying containerized apps
  • Server: Windows Server 2012 / 2016, Linux (Redhat, Amazon Linux AMI), IIS, Kestrel, Apache
  • Slack, JIRA, Mercurial, G Suite, Lucidchart
  • Freshdesk / Freshchat / Freshcaller, Mailchimp / Mandrill, Hubspot
