Back in March, Amazon updated their privacy policy concerning how they handle PII. This policy has now been extended to affect all Amazon integrators like Linnworks. In order to stay compliant, Linnworks is now required to remove all PII from Amazon orders 30 days after the order was shipped. We're working on some developments to make this change easier on our users - click here to check them out.
This means that 30 days after an Amazon order has been marked as processed in Linnworks, PII such as shipping and contact information will be removed from the Linnworks processed order.
Below is a list of all the PII that will be removed from an Amazon order 30 days after being marked as processed in Linnworks.
This process will come into affect on the 16th of August 2019. This update will affect all future orders, as well as all old Amazon orders that have been processed for longer than 30 days.
Remember that although this data must be removed within 30 days, you are still able to export all your order data before it's removed. If you do export such data it is your responsibility to adhere to Amazon's data protection policies.
