In order to make some adjustments to an order you can edit its details. While direct orders can be edited in anyway you like external orders (order downloaded from eBay, Amazon or website) may be restricted to only certain fields. You can only edit Open Orders, once the order is processed you cannot change any of its details.
To edit the order:
Go to Open Orders
Find the order you wish to edit and highlight it.
Click Edit button on the toolbar.
If the order is downloaded from external source (Amazon, eBay, Magento etc) you will be restricted in terms of what changes you can make depending on the source of the order. This is to prevent users from making drastic changes to the order and therefore loosing the backwards tractability of the order (which is very important when updating shipping information on external sources). You can, however, convert the order to Direct Order and make any changes you wish, but in this case when you process the order the shipping information might not be submitted to the external channel.
