PlayTrade Integration

PlayTrade integration allows the system to

• Automatically download new orders from PlayTrade
• Add listings to PlayTrade account
• Mark items as dispatched on PlayTrade
• End listings on PlayTrade if you run out of stock
• Automatically re-list items which are linked to stock

Setup PlayTrade account integration

1. Open PlayTrade integration screen in Linnworks. Settings > Automation > Order Books > PlayTrade
2. Click Add Site button

3. Enter the PlayTrade integration credentials into Linnworks PlayTrade Automation module

• Merchant Nickname
• Username (to your PlayTrade account)
• Password (to your PlayTrade account)

4. Put the date, prior to which orders will be ignored (NB! Only waiting shipping orders can be downloaded by system. Closed orders will not be downloaded)

5. Put the maximum time for PlayTrade report generation (System will submit request for PlayTrade report and will wait for report for chosen time)
6. Choose postage service, which will be assigned to national order
7. Choose postage service, which will be assigned to international order
8. Mark/unmark options for PlayTrade integration

• Inventory update (your PlayTrade inventory levels will be updated every time you sync)
• Mark as Dispatched (system will submit dispatch information to PlayTrade when PlayTrade order is processed)
• Merge orders from the same customer

8. Click Test button to test integration access (if something is wrong the system will give your error message)

Additional information:

• You can enable/disable the site integration by clicking the red/green dot on the PlayTrade Integration tab
• To edit the detail of the PlayTrade integration double click on the record
• Every time you press the Test button, PlayTrade will create a report about it (you can see it when you log in to PlayTrade)

PlayTrade Lister

Linnworks system will send a request for PlayTrade listings and will compare the listing in PlayTrade with items in Linnworks (this could take some time – depending on the number of items in system).

Items which are already listed in PlayTrade will be green. Items which are not will be grey.

After that you can choose the item you want to be listed in PlayTrade and click the Submit Listings button.

NB! To list your products you need the ISBN/UPC or EAN number entered in the barcode field in Linnworks.

New listings will appear on your PlayTrade account (New items listed on PlayTrade may take up to 45 minutes to appear in your listings history).

PlayTrade listing Mapping

The orders that are being received from external channels could have a different name or SKU from your internal product definition.

Click on Mapping to make sure all your SKUs are matching the inventory. After that the system will show you all PlayTrade listings which are not linked to items in Linnworks system.

Click on New to link the items.

Don't forget to Save the changes you made.

PlayTrade orders

To get new orders you have to just synchronize, by clicking on the Sync button (an order report will be created in PlayTrade).

Now you can see orders, which are downloaded from PlayTrade.
