This document describes how to set up eBay integration with Linnworks. Here you can also find information about what functions linnworks can perform while working with eBay.
eBay integration allows the system to

To set up basic eBay Order Book integration go to Settings > Automation and select eBay tab

Click Subscribe button on the right hand side of the eBay integration screen. Enter your eBay user Id and click OK.

The program will then open your default browser and direct you to eBay sign-in page. Login to your eBay account as normal.

You will then be required confirm that you agree to open up your eBay data for Finaware to access.

Click I Agree (if you agree) and close the window.
Return to the Linnworks and and click Continue at the top of the window.
The system will then connect to eBay and obtain your personal Token Id.
Once subscribed you don’t need to do it again. The system will know how to connect to eBay and get the latest data. Also your username or password is NOT recorded anywhere in the system, hence you can change it on eBay without recreating subscription.
Once subscribed you can specify the dates to get the order from (up to 3 month ago).
Last Synchronized - specifies the point in time you want to the orders from.
Start point – specifies the point in time which will be treated as beginning of your order book (any order data updates before this point will be ignored by the system)
Usually these two fields will be equal.

For example, change this time to 1 week ago to get orders sold during the last week.
Click to save changes.
Go to Synchronization tab and click Sync button to get the orders.

The new orders will appear in Order Book > Open Orders
PayPal integration is normally used in conjunction with eBay order book integration. The functionality allows you to
Download payments made by PayPal for product/services or an invoice outside of eBay channel.
Update eBay order with PayPal shipping address and any payment notes entered during the checkout process
Please note that PayPal alone (without eBay) is not enough to obtain accurate information about items bought on eBay, as it does not include individual item costs and selected postal service.
To set up PayPal integration go to Settings >Automation and select PayPal Integration tab
Select live from the drop down menu. And enter your PayPal API credentials in the fields provided. You can get your API credentials by login in to your PayPal account, select My Account > Profile and select API Access under Account Information

Click View or Remove API Credentials.

The information you need will be detailed in there. Copy the data line by line into the application and click Check API to make sure you have entered all the details correctly.
The same as with eBay integration the software does not store your PayPal login details anywhere. Therefore you can change the username and password for you PayPal account without changing anything in Linnworks.
Click View or Remove API Credentials.
