Scripting in Linnworks allows you to inject your own automation behaviour into the system. In another words you can write your own little programs which are executed during the synchronization. The script can amend an order, add new items, send emails, split orders, create Purchase orders automatically and many other things. The script is very much like a macro – an order script will run for every new or processed order on the system and gives you direct access to all properties of an order. |

Scripts are designed to automate part of your business process, here just some of the things the order script can be used
In addition to Order scripting you can have generic macro script which runs a batch job everytime you synchronize.
Here are some examples of what Macro Script can be used for

One of the biggest showstoppers when an online merchant considers using fulfilment services by third party company is integration with the fulfilment company. Basically how on earth do you feed order information and keep track of your stock levels in the fulfilment warehouse. Of course many decent fulfilment centers will provide the merchant with some sort of backoffice system where you can enter order information and look at your stock levels, however it is rather manual process and stands useful up to a certain point. The use of fulfilment services has been growing in the recent years. The costs of the service is falling, fulfilment centers become more efficient and smarter when it comes to storage, picking and shipping. And most importantly they take away the headache of actually fulfilling the orders.
|
![]() |
We understand the need for seamless integration with fulfilment centers, so we now have a module that makes it possible. Amazon FBA integration is as simple as ticking a box. Integration with the fulfilment center itself is also simple – configure 3 flat files and you are done.
The automation module can raise new orders on Amazon FBA or a fulfilment center, keep track of existing order status, update shipping information and synchronize stock levels with the fulfilment warehouse and Fulfilment By Amazon.

We are glad to announce the release of our latest integration with Hitmeister.de, the most popular marketplace in Germany.
Hitmeister.de is a marketplace for media products and consumer electronics, where small and medium-sized sellers can integrate their shops to sell listed products to consumers, via all forms of online marketing.
The main benefit of Hitmeister is that it does not charge listings fees thus only relying on final-value fees.
All in all, we believe such integration will not only be useful for our German customers but also for those sellers who are looking to enhance their online presence even further, especially in media and electronics sectors!

Linnworks has an API (Application Programming Interface). The API is available to Linnworks Anywhere Standard users or higher (and Entry for solution partner referred customers)
|
The idea is to expose all the functionality available in Linnworks through API webservice, however it is a gradual process and will be developed based on requests we get for certain functionality to be exposed. Full upto date WSDL is available as well. We have sample test application in C# .Net 2.0 as well. PHP sample code will follow later this year. |
|
You can generate API token from your account management at https://acc.linnworks.com.
A token is not just a password that grants access to your system via API it is also a set of instructions for API server which includes set of permissions the application that is using a token can perform. For example a common use would be to expose the system to third party fulfillment warehouse and only expose orders with certain properties (i.s. assigned to a specific order folder or contains specific order items etc).
A token must be supplied with request. Token is like a password for the system so be careful who it give this token to.
Linnworks now has over 2000 users, and the community continues to grows very rapidly. You are more than welcome to develope a commercial application for Linnworks and we will help to promote it to existing customer base. If you have a good idea and capable of utilizing the API - there are quite a few juicy opportunities to make a pile of dosh out of it as well :)

Amazon has introduced unified European accounts. This means that you can sell on all European marketplaces (UK, Germany, France and Italy) from a single seller central account. You should be able to switch between different marketplaces in your Amazon Seller Central account.

Linnworks has full support for unified Amazon accounts as long as you have switched to webservices. You can download orders from all accounts, update shipping information, update inventory levels and synchronize inventory across all marketplaces automatically, as well as list products and run Amazon repricing tool for all accounts.
For all intents and purposes Linnworks treats different marketplaces under the same unified account as different channels. This allows you to separate stock that goes to different marketplaces and identify which source a specific order came from.
Please see documentation on how to integrate different Amazon marketplaces in unified account.

Amazon has recently launched Amazon Italy site and opened the site for marketplace sellers. We have now tested Linnworks under Amazon Italy account and happy to confirm the integration with Amazon Italy works flawlessly.
Sellers can register their account and start listing products in the categories Consumer Electronics, Software & Video Games.
Adding Amazon Italy account to Linnworks is as simple as creating another integrated channel. The integration supports Order Management, Inventory Control, Stock updates, listing and repricing functionality.
And of course, Linnworks is awesome enough to deal with Amazon.it out-of-the-box.
