Inventory Synchronization across multiple channels
This video describes unique functionality for inventory synchronization across multiple channels.

Overview

Linnworks can automatically synchronize inventory levels you have in stock with Amazon when the stock levels change in Linnworks as a result of a sale made on eBay, website or another Amazon account. A “change” means you have sold a product elsewhere or you have purchased new stock from a supplier – adding to the stock level. Please refer to Inventory Management documentation for more detailed explanation of how stock levels change, what is being triggered and what is being propagated to the selling channels. To make it work make sure you have set Inventory Update option on Amazon integration screen and that the product listed on your Amazon account are linked up to inventory defined in Linnworks.

Linking Amazon listings to inventory items in Linnworks

Because Amazon is an external channel you need to link products sold on Amazon (or in other words Amazon listings) to inventory listing in Linnworks. If you have multiple Amazon accounts, this has to be done for each integrated Amazon account. The linking is done by Amazon Merchant SKU numbers (these are not ASIN numbers). To link your inventory go to Settings >Channel Integration and click the Mapping button under the Inventory Mapping column.

To use the Amazon inventory mapping tool you have to generate the latest inventory report on Amazon first.

  1. Login to your Amazon Seller Central Account
  2. Go to Inventory > Inventory Reports
  3. And Request Active Listings Report
  4. Wait 10 minutes for the report to be available for Linnworks to pickup automatically

Linnworks Amazon inventory mapping screen will display all available inventory on the left hand side. To link the listing to the inventory, use the right hand side to find the stock item you want to link to and double click on the stock item in the grid to link the listing to the stock item.

You can create new stock items from the Amazon listing by right clicking on the listing from the left hand side and clicking Create Stock Items. Linnworks will automatically create new stock item with the SKU matching Amazon Merchant SKU, the title matching amazon listing titles, the price and stock level also matching what is listed on Amazon account.

If your SKUs match listings Amazon Merchant SKUs you can get Linnworks to auto-match listings to the inventory. Right click on the left hand side grid and click Auto Link All by SKU.
