The Error

"(401) Unauthorized error"

This error occurs for 2 reasons

  1. PlayTrade details are either incorrect
  2. Your account is not a PlayTrade Merchant account

Solution

  1. Make sure your details are the correct details to log into PlayTrade
  2. Upgrade your account to a Merchant Account. PlayTrade only allow PlayTrade merchant accounts to access via their API.
