Order Book Settings
Order Book Settings allows you to alter the way the Open Orders screen displays and reacts. This menu can be found by going to the Open Orders Screen, right-clicking and selecting Configuration > Order Book Settings.

The Order Book Configuration screen will open and present you with a list of options you can enable to customise your Linnworks environment.

The following options are available for you to configure:
Open Orders Screen Options
- Double Click opens Process Order – Enabling this option takes you straight to the Process Order screen when you double click on an Open Order.
- Hide Stock Level Indicator – Enabling this option hides the stock level indicator on the Open Orders screen.
- Show Original Item Title – With this option turned on, the original item title will be displayed in closed brackets after the current item title.
- Show Original Channel SKU – With this option turned on, the original channel SKU will be displayed in closed brackets after the current item SKU.
- Show stock item title – Enabling this option shows the item title of every item in the order.
- Show stock item SKU – Enabling this option shows the SKU of every item in the order.
- Show Stock Level tooltip on mouse rollover – With this option turned on, highlighting the stock level indicator for an item will display the Stock Level tooltip.
- Automatically Print Invoice for new orders – With this enabled, invoices will automatically be printed for new orders.
- Autosize open orders grid rows - by default order rows in the open orders are set to be of fixed size. On a small screen this may cause limited number orders to be visible. Autosize slows down the system but it will automatically work out the optimal row size for each order.
- Thumbnail image size - product image size in the open orders screen (may require restart of the of the open orders screen)
- Despatch Console - Allow batch processing by scanning tracking numbers - by default if you scan order tracking number in the despatch console, the order will not be found. Enabling this option will check order shipping tracking number when scanned in the despatch console.
Process Order Screen Options:
- Auto Print Label – Selecting this option will automatically print the label when you process the order.
- Auto Print Invoice – Selecting this option will automatically print the invoice when you process the order.
- Space Bar to process order – With this enabled, pressing the Space Bar on the Process Order Screen will process the order. Be careful with this setting as you can accidentally hit the space bar and process orders without meaning to.
- Process Order by Scanning Barcode – If you wish to process orders by scanning a barcode, enter the barcode in the text box provided. Ensure that this is a completely unique barcode.
- Only Process Paid Orders – Enabling this will only let you process orders that have been paid for.
- Only Process if all items are linked – Enabling this will only let you process orders if all items in the order are linked.
- Show product images on Process Order screen - product images will be displayed in the Process order screen.
- Open process order screen in Full Screen Mode - process order screen will be maximuized when you Process an order.
- Despatch Consol scan, process order automatically if label and invoice is printed - when you scan an order id in the despatch console, Linnworks will try to process an order automatically. The order will only be processed if Invoice and the Shipping Label is printed for the order.
